10/9-10/12/26 Fall Yoga Retreat on Martha’s Vineyard
Myth, Movement + the Necessity of Practice
SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE!
Whether you are a regular yoga practitioner or newer to making shapes, breathing or meditation, you are welcome! I have been leading this Fall Retreat for the last 3 years and there is no cozier venue than Vineyard Arts Project for the practice of reorganization and rejuvenation that a Retreat can offer. With an emphasis on alignment, progressive sequencing, joint mobility work, this retreat hits more than just the physical benefits of an embodied practice. The cultural myths, stories, and teachings from multiple traditions are woven into the structural practice of yoga making it come alive; giving context and infusing a deeper connection to our everyday lives. We are not without tools to help us remember our power, strength, and capacity to navigate the joys & heartaches of living this one wild and precious life.
While the Fall Retreat runs from Friday to Monday, you are welcome to stay for the length of time you can. The weekend is organized as a full spectrum container of yoga practice, community, cross-cultural philosophy, postural alignment, and meditation. We live busy lives-come rejuvenate yourself and explore what it means to be in a body, in a postural practice supported by your breath and a regulated nervous system. Our onsite chef provides fresh, healthy meals to keep us nourished. There is always time for rest and adventuring.
